Frequently Asked Questions

How Do I Know If My Church Is Ready?
If at least five of the following statements apply to your church, you should be able to create the momentum needed for such an initiative.

Can the HomePointe ministry model be customized?
Absolutely!  This model was specifically designed to enable each church to customize the templates and content to fit their unique personality, strategy, theology, traditions and size.  It is also designed to make the leaders of your church the key face and voice of the ministry rather than a high-profile but remote family ministry personality.

Who implements and leads the HomePointe ministry model?
The HomePointe ministry model is best initiated by an Executive Sponsor such as the senior pastor or executive pastor.  The day-to-day operations are led by a Visionary Champion such as a staff or lay leader.  Additionally, a team of volunteer Hosts can be recruited and trained to staff the HomePointe Center and maintain ongoing operations.  Because HomePointe is an integrated strategy, it also leverages the coordination and cooperation of existing ministry leaders such as the small group, children’s and student pastors.

When is the HomePointe ministry model implemented?
The HomePointe ministry model is designed to operate on a 120-day cycle (typically Jan-Apr, May-Aug, and Sep-Dec).  We recommend allowing 120 days for implementation planning and preparation before your initial launch campaign.

How is the HomePointe ministry maintained?
Since the HomePointe ministry model is designed to operate on 120 day cycles, it should become part of your routine ministry planning process.  Trimesters typically consist of a featured campaign theme that can be integrated into all the ministries of the church, as well as ongoing initiatives such as Appraisals, 120-Day Plans, HomePointe Center resources, etc.  As soon as the team has implemented one trimester campaign it can make plans for the next – building momentum through catalytic experiences that drive a culture of intentional families.

What does it cost to implement the HomePointe model?
The cost varies depending upon church size and budget to make it affordable for everyone.   The annual license fee is less than the cost of hosting a typical marriage or parenting conference yet enables you to implement an ongoing faith@home strategy.  For a more detailed estimate for your church request a complimentary one hour consultation by emailing us at info@homepointemodel.com
